1. The current state of our first P2E Game and the reason for its delay

We wanted to deliver our first P2E game Shibarmy Adventures in April 2022 and had high hopes to keep the deadline. The game was developed with the Unity engine in less than 2 months and after some bug fixing it was ready to be released on time.

While deploying the game to go live, we encountered blockchain-related problems, essentially making the P2E aspect of our game not work as intended within the Unity framework. To ensure the project’s reputation and not deliver an unpleasant experience to our holders, we had to go back to the drawing board and rebuild our wallet and blockchain integration.

2. Shibarmy Adventures Evolution, Unreal Engine 5, and more

As teased in this article Digifinex Listing Event — Loyalty NFT for all voters and Shibarmy Adventures Evolution revealed our design team has taken the step into the Unreal Engine 5. Working with Blender until now, we decided to take this step for a few reasons:

Performance: The UE5 offers us a 60 FPS real-time editor with raytracing support for the best lighting possible. This provides the ideal environment for our NFTs and allows us to explore several versions and effects in quick succession without the render time in between.
Workflow: The UE5 integrates into our existing Blender work and we can use the advantages of both ecosystems and expand on our prior work on AirNFT.
Gameplay: Most of you know the Unreal Engine for its gaming capabilities and with version 5.0 it offers many tools that allow us to create a full 3D Game without the need of a big development team. The working title for this project is Shibarmy Adventures Evolution.
Possibilities: With practically endless support of high-quality assets, blueprints, VR-Support, and more convenient tools for UE5, we will be capable to deliver a new 3D experience for our holders. This includes exciting gameplay with state-of-the-art graphics, full blockchain, complete NFT integration, and a rewarding P2E environment.

3. The NFTs and their use case. What to expect

With the use of the UE5, we can offer an NFT Showcase, running on PC and Mobile where you will be to explore our 3D NFTs and 2D Art in a 3D environment. But this is just the beginning, with the integration of NFTs in our game we can offer incredible features:

How we will use the blockchain and NFTs as an essential part of our development for Shibarmy Adventures Evolution:

We can check for a specific NFT to give holders access to gear in-game by unlocking it by holding one of our NFTs.
User verification and user ID assignment based on blockchain technology allows us to offer you a fully customizable profile that can only be accessed by you with your wallet. No registration is required.
We will be able to verify a token is held, this can be used to reward holders of $SHIBARMY for example. Otherwise, it will incentivize players to hold a specific currency, hello partnerships.
Reselling allows users to directly profit from NFTs they receive for playing or by finding them in NFT containers.

Full Integration of our NFTs in the new P2E game will allow players to sell NFTs on any Marketplace for any blockchain we support!
